What Is Spinal Stenosis?

Spinal Stenosis is a narrowing of spaces in the spine that can place pressure on nerves. It most often affects the lower back or neck and may cause pain, numbness, tingling or weakness.

  • Numbness or tingling in the legs or arms.
  • Weakness or reduced endurance.
  • Relief when bending forward or sitting.
  • Symptoms linked to age-related spinal changes.

Care may include X-ray, MRI or CT, diagnostic and therapeutic injections, rehabilitation, on-site physical therapy, and MILD (Minimally Invasive Lumbar Decompression) when clinically appropriate.

If Spinal Stenosis is making it harder to stay active and independent, SpineCare Center can help identify options for relief. Call (205) 759-7246 to schedule care
