The DAISY Award
We are proud to recognize our nurses with The DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses, a national program that honors the compassionate care and clinical excellence our nurses bring to their patients every day. Throughout the year, you may nominate a nurse for The DAISY Award. Please fill out the form below to nominate a nurse for the DAISY award.
The BEE Award
Daisies and Bees work closely together and depend on each other. The BEE (Being Exceptional Every Day) Award is a complimentary award to the DAISY Award. DCH’s BEE Award recognizes support personnel who have provided exceptional care and service to patients. Support staff at DCH - such as transportation aides, visual observation staff, unit assistants, housekeepers, nursing assistants and others - can be nominated for the BEE Award.
The PHIL Award
The PHIL Award (Pulmonary Health and Illnesses of the Lungs) was established by The FACES Foundation to recognize outstanding respiratory therapists who provide care and treatment for patients with respiratory illnesses. The PHIL Award honors the 'unsung heroes' in the respiratory therapy profession who understand that each breath matters.
