Dr. James T. Barnett, Medical Director

Physiatrist Dr. James T. Barnett serves as the Medical Director for the DCH Rehabilitation Pavilion. As the Medical Director, he assists with admission approval based on rehabilitation criteria.

Dr. Barnett earned his bachelor's degree from Birmingham Southern College, and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of South Alabama.

He completed his internship at Lloyd Noland Hospital in Birmingham, Ala. and his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Dr. Barnett is a member of the American Medical Association, and a Fellow with the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
