Congratulations to our latest BEE Award Winner, Kaylon Bowen. Her nomination came from a patient family member:
I had just left your facility with my daughter went to the local goodwill. Mrs. Bowen had come in and was shopping I assume. I had my two-year-old daughter in the buggy and my sweet baby had a gumball in her mouth.
She became choked, her lips were turning purple, and while I was frantic and froze no one else did anything. She dropped everything she had and ran to help without hesitation. She calmed me, got my sweet daughter, and began the Heimlich maneuver and was able to dislodge the gumball.
She showed such compassion and care not only to myself, but my baby. If an employee shows this kind of compassion off the clock, I can only imagine the lives she touches while at work. This sweet lady deserves to be recognized.
