The DCH Foundation is pleased to announce that veteran development and communications executive Brandt LaPish has been named Vice President of Development for the DCH Health System. In this role, LaPish will lead philanthropic strategy, donor engagement, and community partnerships supporting DCH Health System’s mission and future growth.
LaPish brings more than 20 years of experience leading transformational fundraising strategies, strategic communications initiatives, and complex public-private partnerships across healthcare, nonprofit, education, and economic development sectors. She has demonstrated success securing transformational gifts, cultivating high-capacity donor relationships, building strategic corporate and foundation partnerships, and aligning philanthropic investment with long-term organizational priorities.
Most recently, LaPish served as Development Director for the Saban Center Foundation, where she built and led the capital campaign and fundraising operation from the ground up for the Saban Center, a first-of-its-kind educational workforce campus in Tuscaloosa representing more than $121 million in total project investment. Under her leadership, the campaign secured more than $36 million in philanthropic support and helped obtain an additional $25 million in state investment through strategic advocacy, stakeholder engagement, and public-private partnership development.
LaPish previously served as Development Director for the DCH Health System from 2018 to 2022, overseeing major gifts, grants, and corporate partnerships while helping expand the organization’s donor base and philanthropic initiatives.
“Brandt’s leadership experience, passion for this community, and strong background in healthcare philanthropy make her an outstanding fit for this role,” said DCH President & CEO, Katrina Keefer. “We are excited to welcome her back to DCH and look forward to the impact she will make for our patients, caregivers, and the communities we serve.”
LaPish earned both her Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Master of Arts in Advertising and Public Relations from The University of Alabama.
