DCH Coronavirus Update 2-24-22

DCH Coronavirus Update 2-24-22

Update Feb. 24, 2022

Revised Visitation Policy

Effective tomorrow, Feb. 25, DCH is modifying its COVID-19 visitation restriction policy. Most areas are staying the same for now but there are two significant modifications.

Starting tomorrow, up to two support people may accompany a non-COVID-19 patient in the Emergency Department once the patient has been placed in a private room. Up until this change only one has been allowed.

The second change will allow one support person, in areas as outlined, per day for COVID-19 positive patients or patients who are suspected of having COVID and are awaiting a test result. The support person must use, at all times, approved personal protective equipment during the visit.

The full policy can be found at https://www.dchsystem.com/covid-19/visitation-policy/.
