DCH Coronavirus Update 7-30-20

DCH Coronavirus Update 7-30-20

Fayette Medical Center Named One of Newsweek’s Best Hospitals in the United States for 2020

Fayette Medical Center, part of the DCH system, was one of two hospitals in Alabama to be named to Newsweek’s Best Hospitals for 2020. Hospitals included in this year’s list were evaluated on three areas: recommendation from peers, patient experience and key performance indicators.

Peer recommendations were taken from results of a survey of doctors and other health care professionals. Patient experience data looked at patient survey topics such as overall satisfaction, likelihood to recommend the hospital to others and satisfaction with quality of care and service. Key performance indicator data reviewed included quality of care and patient safety.

Congratulations to the Fayette Medical Center team!
