DCH Regional Medical Center Auxiliary

The DCH Regional Medical Center Auxiliary has served the health system for over 60 years. It provides both volunteer service and fundraising activities. As a result, it connects caring community members with those who need their help. The Auxiliary provides vital support services through volunteer hours. In addition, it funds scholarships and financial gifts to the hospital. We’re always growing in order to serve our community better.

Getting Started

You must complete an application before we can place you into volunteer service. Completing this process, however, does not guarantee you will be accepted as a volunteer. You can find the link to apply for each different division below in the tabs.

Adult Volunteer Program
  • Must commit to 4 hours a week
  • Over 18; Not currently enrolled in college or graduate school
  • Required: State ID (permit or passport works)
  • Must complete health screen

College Volunteer Program
  • Accepting Freshman and Sophomores only, who can commit to at least 3 consecutive years of volunteering (Fall and Spring semesters)
  • Minimum of 50 hours a semester
  • Currently enrolled in college or graduate school
  • Required: State ID (permit or passport works)
  • Must complete health screen

High School Volunteer Program
  • Open to incoming 9th-12th graders
  • 3.0 GPA, Letter of Recommendation from one teacher
  • Students are required to volunteer year-round
  • 2 hours/week (Fall & Spring), 4 hours/week (Summer)
  • Total 30 hours (Fall & Spring), 60 hours (Summer), or 120 hours/year

Healthcare Immersion Camp: May 31st-June 11th, 2027

Exposure to different healthcare careers with hands-on experience

  • Open to incoming 9th-12th graders
  • 3.0 GPA, 400-word essay, Letter of Recommendation from one teacher
  • Monday-Friday, 8am - 12pm (must be able to attend entire camp)
  • Accepting 20 applicants
  • Applications open on March 8th, 2027. Application deadline is April 9th, 2027.
