Critical Care Visitation

Visitation is patient centered and customized to meet the needs of each patient in our critical care units, which include Cardiac ICU, Cardiac Surgical ICU, Medical ICU and Trauma/Surgical ICU. Visiting times may be altered at the discretion of the nurse and physician. Only two visitors are allowed per patient.

During shift report times, only the significant other or a person of the patient's choosing may remain in the room during report. In an effort to support confidential sharing of patient information, doors to the waiting area will be locked, and no thru traffic will occur during these hours listed below:

6:30 a.m.-7:30 a.m.

6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

We discourage children under the age of 16 from visiting our critical care areas. Children may visit at the discretion of the nurse/physician, depending upon patient condition.
