We're excited to announce our latest BEE Award winner, Shenita Towns from DCH's Radiology team! Here is her nomination....

So super helpful and caring. She connected with my 8-year-old grandson in such a wonderful way and made everything not only pleasant, but actually on a child-level for him even with him holding his own paperwork and things and connecting with him so well.
She had to go above and beyond to get our appointment right because our paperwork said to be here, but the appointment was actually in Northport. She did everything to make it work for us here and not have to leave even without us asking her to. A constant smile and pleasant attitude the whole time.
BEE stands for Being Exceptional Everyday. This award recognizes extraordinary service from our non-nursing staff. Any employee from any department (except RNs) can be nominated for the BEE Award. RNs are recognized for exceptional service with The DAISY Award.
BEE Award nominations will be accepted from patients, patients’ family members, physicians, DCH employees and volunteers. If you’ve experienced or witnessed extraordinary service from a DCH team member, then nominate that person for the BEE Award.
