Donor Bill of Rights
The DCH Foundation is committed to honoring the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and stewardship. Our donors play a vital role in advancing healthcare across West Alabama, and we believe every donor has the right to:
- Be informed about the Foundation’s mission, how donations are used, and how contributions support DCH Health System.
- Know that gifts are used responsibly and in accordance with donor intent.
- Access accurate financial information, including reports on stewardship and accountability.
- Receive appropriate acknowledgment and recognition, unless anonymity is requested.
- Expect professionalism and respect in all interactions with Foundation staff and volunteers.
- Have personal information protected, with assurance that donor privacy is respected and maintained.
- Ask questions and receive timely, honest responses regarding donations and Foundation activities.
