The Manderson Cancer Center offers enhanced access to research-based institutions through affiliations, registries and certifications.

MD Anderson Cancer Center NetworkTM Certified Member

The Manderson Cancer Center is one of only 16 certified members of the MD Anderson Cancer Center NetworkTM Certified Member, a program of The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. This sets our cancer center at a higher standard in performing best practices for our patients. Our physicians have access to peer to peer consults with MD Anderson. We also participate in a weekly multidisciplinary teleconference with MD Anderson faculty and other Certified Sites to review disease specific cases. In the event the physician needs to make a referral to MD Anderson, our staff works with the intake team at MD Anderson to make this as seamless as possible for the patient. This certification involves annual safety visits, Radiation and Medical Oncology Peer Review and weekly teleconferences with surgeons and oncologists to discuss disease specific cases.
