We are pleased to announce that David Herman, CPA, MBA, will be joining DCH as Vice President of Finance on October 13th. David is a seasoned healthcare finance executive with more than 30 years of experience leading financial strategy, revenue cycle operations, and performance improvement in complex health systems.
David most recently served as Finance Director for University Hospitals (UH) in Cleveland, Ohio, where he oversaw accounting and revenue cycle integration for Lake Health, a $400M three-hospital system acquired by UH in 2021. Additionally, David was responsible for UH Ventures accounting, a $450M division that included specialty and retail pharmacies, home healthcare, reference labs, and infusion centers.
David earned his MBA in Finance with Distinction from DePaul University and his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Illinois State University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and an active member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. His expertise in healthcare finance and proven leadership in revenue cycle and financial strategy will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen the financial foundation of our health system.
