A Doctor of Nursing Practice and nationally certified nurse executive, she brings extensive experience in operations, innovation, and informatics from prior leadership roles at Augusta University Health and Baptist Health in Montgomery.

Dawn Alexander is Chief Nursing Officer for DCH Health System, overseeing nursing practice and operations across the system's hospitals and service lines. With more than 30 years of nursing leadership experience, she has driven improvements in nurse engagement, patient experience, and clinical outcomes, earning national recognition from Becker's Hospital Review as a "Chief Nursing Officer to Know."

Dr. John Miller serves as Chief Medical Officer for DCH Health System, providing physician leadership for quality and safety while continuing to care for patients in internal medicine and palliative care. A lifelong Tuscaloosa resident, he is board certified in internal medicine with fellowship training in hospice and palliative care and has long been active in DCH medical staff leadership.

A licensed certified public accountant, he has previously served as CFO for multiple hospital and health systems and is known for collaborative, data-driven financial leadership.
