BEE Winner: Kim Wells

BEE Winner: Kim Wells

Congratulations to Kim Wells, buyer, Supply Chain! She is the most recent recipient of the BEE Award.

Wells was nominated by Patient Care Services Director Dana Murphy who wrote:

“Kim is the epitome of customer service. She greets you on the phone with a pleasant attitude; she goes above and beyond in any request made of her; and she treats all she serves with respect, professionalism and promptness.

“Her email closing remark, ‘Always in your Service,’ is the perfect picture of Kim’s dedication to her position and those she helps. Kim comes to work each shift with a ‘I get to attitude’ rather than a ‘I got to attitude.’ There is a difference between the two, and it is evident with the assistance she provides.

“I called her once to inquire about service on a department coffee maker. This is not necessarily in her job description, but she promptly replied with the service number to call; the option to choose from the call menu; and the account number to provide. She also listed the information on the coffee maker that I would need when I called.

“This is just one example of the service she provides when someone reaches out to her. This level of customer service is what we all should strive for.”

BEE stands for Being Exceptional Everyday. This award recognizes extraordinary service from our non-nursing staff. Any employee from any department (except RNs) can be nominated for the BEE Award.
