DCH Announces David Roberts as VP of Construction/Engineering

David Roberts will join the leadership team of the DCH Health System as Vice President of Construction/Engineering April 15.

Roberts returns to DCH from The University of Alabama where he was contract manager for all Alabama Department of Mental Health facilities in Tuscaloosa. Roberts managed all construction, renovation and capital improvements for Bryce Hospital, Harper Center and Taylor Hardin Secure Medical Facility.

He previously served DCH for more than 20 years as the Corporate Director of Construction/Engineering where he supervised several departments and managed many projects including the construction of the Lewis and Faye Manderson Cancer Center.

“I am extremely pleased to have David return to DCH in this role.” said Luke Standeffer, Administrator/Senior Vice President. “His extensive experience and expertise in health care and construction will be invaluable as we continue to expand and improve the services we provide for the community.”

Roberts completed a master’s degree in chemical engineering and a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from The University of Alabama.
