When the people of West Alabama need health care, they turn to the DCH Health System, which offers advanced caring to people in 11 counties. If you are looking for a high-tech, dynamic work place with a community feel, DCH is the right place for you. You could join our team of professionals at one of three campuses:
DCH Regional Medical Center is home to the region’s trauma center and the Lewis and Faye Manderson Cancer Center, a certified member of MD Anderson Cancer NetworkTM, a program of The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. DCH Regional Medical Center is located in Tuscaloosa, Ala.

Northport Medical Center offers a full range of services including inpatient rehabilitation and psychiatric services. It is located just a few miles from the flagship hospital and is based in Northport, Ala.

Fayette Medical Center, Fayette, Ala., is among the top-rated rural hospitals in Alabama. It offers a range of services and includes a long-term care unit.

Our Nursing staff has embraced relationship-based care, which is the way we provide care for our patients, their families and each other. It means that we have a caring and healing environment and we always place our patients and their families at the center of everything we do.

Safety is always our first priority. We encourage staff to report safety concerns and always look for ways to improve processes. By participating in the Shared Accountability Team, our nurses at DCH have a voice in helping to improve patient care.

DCH Health System is proud to be associated with the UHC/AACN Nurse Residency Program. The program is a joint effort with The University of Alabama Capstone College of Nursing. The one-year program is built on an evidence-based curriculum and is highly interactive and supportive. Residents meet monthly with a mentor/facilitator. Click here to watch a video about our  residency program.
