The BEE Award

Daisies and Bees work closely together and depend on each other. The DAISY Awards is a national program that honors the compassionate care and clinical excellence our nurses bring to their patients every day. The BEE Award, stands for “Being Exceptional Every Day” and is a complimentary award to the DAISY Award.

DCH’s BEE Awards recognize support personnel who have provided exceptional care and service to patients. Support staff at DCH - such as transportation aides, visual observation staff, unit assistants, housekeepers, nursing assistants and others - can be nominated for the BEE Award. Nominations can be submitted by patients, families or colleagues using the nomination form found below.
