Fayette Medical Center offers various programs to the public.
Diabetic Education is and ongoing program provided to patients on an individual basis. The diabetic educator meets with patients to discuss their needs and plan treatment, in conjunction with physician orders.
SafeSitter classes will begin this summer. This annual class is open to all 11- to 13-year olds who are interested in babysitting. Safety skills and how to handle life situations are taught in this class.
TOUCH Cancer Support Group is a cancer survivors support group that meets monthly at Fayette Medical Center. TOUCH (today our understanding of cancer is hope) meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month.
CPR classes are offered on a regular basis for any community groups. Classes are available upon request. There are 16 BLS instructors at Fayette Medical Center who instruct CPR classes.
