The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at Northport Medical Center consists 36 beds. There are 12 Volunteer Pavilion rooms, 11 semi-private rooms and two regular private rooms. The PCU staff cares for a wide variety of patients of all ages, both medical and surgical. The unit also has the ability to monitor EKG rhythms via a centralized telemetry system.
