MD Anderson Cancer Network
The Lewis and Faye Manderson Cancer Center is one of only two facilities in Alabama with a regional affiliation with MD Anderson Cancer NetworkTM, a program of The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
MD Anderson Cancer Center is one of the world's most respected leaders in cancer care and ranked No. 1 in the nation by U.S. News & World Report's "Best Cancer Hospitals" survey for eight of the past ten years including 2011.
Through this affiliation, the Manderson Cancer Center works closely with the MD Anderson Cancer Center to bring a higher level of cancer care to central Alabama. The Manderson Cancer Center was approved for affiliation by the MD Anderson Physicians Network Board of Directors in the fall of 2010.
