Your dad recently got lost while driving home again. Should you step in and take control? If so, what are the necessary legal steps?
The DCH Employee Assistance Program and DCH Home Health Services are sponsoring a fall seminar to help you prepare for similar issues. The Caring for Your Aging Parents seminar takes place Sept. 28 at the Northport Civic Center, 3500 McFarland Blvd., Northport, Ala. The full-day event is open to the general public.
DCH has developed a comprehensive agenda that covers everything from legal issues and Medicare to recognizing the symptoms of dementia. The seminar costs $15 per person which includes educational materials and lunch. Registration is required by noon Sept. 27. Please call 205-759-7890 or email ccook@dchsystem.com to register.
